I emptied my temp files about an hour ago and this meant that I had to sign in and out of all my regular sites that needed signing in - eg, answrbank, email, Facebook etc. I clicked on the 'keep me signed in' box, but every time I revisit any of these sites I have to sign in again. I've tried signing in and closing down and going back into it I have to sign in every time. Any idea as to why the fact that I have checked the 'keep me signed in' box on each one - it doesn't seem to work?

Thanks in advance

I don't know which browser you use (IE, Chrome, Firefox etc) but check your browser settings. There may be something you need to uncheck relating to cookies or remember passwords
Did you change any settings?

This information is held in cookies so if your cookies are being deleted this information will not be saved.

There are settings in some programs (like your browser) that say to delete all temporary files (like cookies) when you close the browser down.

Normally temporary files like cookies are kept as a default, but if you changed a setting to say delete them then you will need to log on to the web site each time.
