Complus Applications
In my program files there is a folder called ComPlus Applications but when I click to open it there is nothing but an empty folder. I'm tempted to delete it but don't know what it is for or whether it is something I should download. Can someone please explain what it is and can I safely delete it? Thanks.

Why give yourself possible problems by deleting a folder if you don't know what it is?
Would you open the bonnet of your car and rip out a wire if you think you did not need it?
Of course not, so just leave the folder alone.
p.s. Windows can have hidden files so when you look at a folder it may appear empty but there may be hidden files in there.
p.s.s A search on the web seems to indicate it is a folder created by Microsoft, and while it may be empty now it may have files put in it a later date, or maybe on a temporary basis.
If you delete the folder it may cause some component of Windows to stop working so why give yourself the hassle.
