Why Can't I Connect To Internet

Just purchased a new laptop. I have set up a wireless connection from my O2 router but cannot access internet . Keep getting message "this connection is limited". I am able to use other devices such as I -pad from the O2 router so don't think there is a problem with router. Strangely, I can also get my laptop onto the internet using my phone as a router. Just cant connect laptop via O2 router. Any advice please !!

Try resetting the TCP/IP stack:
