Roll Back From Wlm 2012 To Wlm 2011

I thought maybe I was at fault (again) for errors I am getting with WLM 2012 but having considered write-ups on line it appears that Microsoft have got some work to do. Anyhow, like many others, I would like to roll-back to WLM2011 (where I had little or no problem with). Can someone advise me as how I should go about this task without losing Contacts / messages etc. Many thanks. Telboy

It's taken me some time to work-out that you appear to be be referring to Windows Live Mail.

I Do Not think you can revert to WLM 2011, but others might argue that you can remove the 2012 programme via your Control Panel and it will go automatically back to your earlier edition of Windows Live Mail.

However, you could be taking a chance.

You can run a repair of Windows Live Mail 2012 by going to Control Panel All Programs and right clicking on Windows Live Essentials and clicking repair Windows Live components and let it do its thing.
