Hotmail : Blocked Senders List
1 Answers
Hi I might be on somebody's blocked senders list. If so what would happen to an email I sent them. They show in my sent folder. Would they bounce back to me or would I be left none the wiser..where do such emails end up?
Thanks

If abcmail.com blocks your mail (because, perhaps, your IP address has become associated with spam) then your own email service won't get a 'receipt' from abcmail's server and you'll get a 'bounce' message.
However if Fred Bloggs has simply configured his email settings to stop abcmail.com forwarding your mail from their server to his inbox, then your mail will get as far as abcmail's server, which will send a 'receipt' back to your own email service, saying that the mail has been received by them. (i.e. you won't get a 'bounce' message).
