Desktop Icon Ie7

Last night I had to do a complete system reset (back to factory settings) on my Windows Vista. I have IE7 back but I don`t have a desktop icon. Does anyone know how I get it please?

Thanks. The fix wants to do a system restore and I have only just done the reset. I don`t want to complicate things so I`ll not bother, I think.

I didn't realise that the auto-fix required a system restore because that is definitely not necessary so have you tried the Let me fix it myself method?

Thanks. That worked. Now I just have to get a shortcut for windows mail. If I right click it, I don`t get the same options that I got with IE. Do you know how I do it please?
