How Can I Activate 'blocked Images'...
15 Answers
For quite a while now I've been unable to see pictures on e-mails and other programmes because the images are blocked. Don't know what I have done, maybe deleted a programme I shouldn't have. Does anyone know?

Yes methyl Yahoo is part of the BT setup - for now. I think I've cracked it with the 'cog' settings on the bt e-mail as you suggested, it also happens on o2 e-mail too and I can't find any appropriate settings on that, also I've noticed on other websites, I think on Stumbleupon some images are blocked too. I'll wait and see if it works now on Bt emails. Thanks for now I must go to bed.

The advice on the 'cog' settings didn't seem to work, the images are still blocked. I can get to see the images by clicking in the small square picture, but not when they have a red cross on them. I'm finding it a pain every time when I try to open e-mails at the moment from the local estate agents showing me the bungalows for sale (house hunting).
No luck with the red cross at all Old Geezer, the other ones are small squares which I can click on to and get the image. I'm not sure which anti-virus programme is causing it. I have Microsoft Security Essentials, Windows Defender is on there somewhere and Malwarebytes and recently McAFee came with my new broadband connection, but the problem started before that.
Getting loads of e-mails from estate agents sir.prize and I do Google them but my main Agent sends me trackers of the market that I can't really ignore.
I think perhaps Id be better off with a computer whizz, unfortunately my daughter is in the process of divorcing mine.

Methyl I have recently downloaded mozilla firefox as my brower it is much quicker and the email and stumbleupon are now showing the images. It must have been something to do with my IE browser. (I think). Not sure how to find which version of Mcafee it was installed with my BT broadband last year. I think I'm running IE8.
