If you don't like the new look (or you just want a particular feature of Firefox 28 back again) you can go back to the old style:

Thanks, ILA.
It's also worth remembering that, if you don't like the look of Firefox, there are over a quarter of a million alternatives available:

Hans:
Many of the differences are in the way that Firefox can be customised, so they're not immediately apparent.
However one change that you might have noticed is that the title bar (across the top of the page, above 'File', 'Edit', etc) is no longer present by default. i.e. in Firefox 28 you'd see 'Firefox 29 in The AnswerBank: Computers - Mozilla Firefox' across the top of the screen but it's not there now' (although, of course, you can put it back if you want to).

Thanks Buenchico for the info. Anyway as I cannot really see any differences in the Menu and Bookmark Toolbars, etc, I am happy with all at the top of my screen. Even File, Edit, etc seems to be where it was before the FF update.(Possibly because I am sometimes unobservant and I guess my memory could be failing.

I generally use 64bit FF variants but downloaded FF29 on Tuesday, and Classic Theme Restorer https:/ /addons .mozill a.org/e n-US/fi refox/a ddon/Cl assicTh emeRest orer/ can almost (but not quite) restore the look of the UI back to how I like it. So for the foreseeable future I'll be sticking to Pale Moon, the producers of which have already declare that they won't change to the Australis interface unless it becomes unavoidable.
