Office 2007 On Windows 8 Laptop

I've just found a disc for Office 2007... will this install on a windows 8 laptop??

The Microsoft website shows it as compatible:

Microsoft may refuse to register the installation via the online links - depends how often the disc has been used.

Don't be scared of ringing the 0800 number it then gives for telephone registration (although use a landline not a mobile) - this has always worked for me.

As long as disc is still valid yes ! I have office 2007 with Windows 8.1 on laptop..
