I am trying to connect my PC webcam with my son's iNotebook (mac) via webcam, as he has just moved away to school. After trying MSN and AIM I found that the only free webcam IM service is on Yahoo Messenger. However, we cannot seem to get connected. Can anyone advise me on how to proceed? Do we need to go through a chat room? My son's iSight software does not seem to have a chat option (or maybe he just can't find it).
Would be very grateful for any advice on how to proceed. Many thanks.

also there is a very good program called Skype which gives you videophone (audio and picture) services free between installed copies of skype or you can pay a small fee (equivalent to a local call rate) to be connected to the local telephone system of your choice of country (very good when calling internationally)
anyway you install the drivers for the webcam, but you use the facility within msn /skype to configure your webcam for use with it.
all you have to do after that is configure the sound and tell it who to connect to.
