I have bought more than half a dozen desktop PCs over the years for myself and relatives.

Never had a problem, never had one fail, never had to return one.

Having had a problem-free Dell laptop I bought a desktop. Delivered with problems, Customer Services somewhere hot where they eats lots of curry and don't have English as a first language. After being passed through many departments, some more than once, I demanded my money back and returned the machine.
Dell are fine so long as you don't have problems.

Bought my Dell laptop in 2006 it still going although rather slower now. Never had any problems with it.

My Dell laptop failed after only 20 months, my sons went with a similar fault after 2 years, wouldn't buy another.
