p.s. if that doesn't work on its own then there are several further steps that have worked for me in the past with updates that are reluctant to run.

i've just managed to download all 3 versions without a problem, so are you having any other internet problems?

if you have some means, such as a website, that would let me transfer the update package files to you then you're welcome to have them

everything else is working perfectly, is this particular update really important?

probably as important/unimportant as most updates - i've never tried this form of sharing before but here (hopefully) is the 32bit version if that would be useful

just tried again on windows update and it has downloaded ... oh the joys of computing, thanks for your help
