Unable To Upload Pictures

I have recently had my laptop cleaned up and all previous material deleted. I now find that I am unable to upload any pictures from my camera.When I insta I get no response at all

Did you not get a software CD with your camera to install whatever photo suite it requires? What is the make and model of your camera? Perhaps you can download the software direct from their website.

You've not stated how you're trying to upload pictures. Some people use the software that comes with their camera (which is usually rather pointless anyway), while other simply use Windows Explorer to transfer the files. Also, some people connect their camera to their computer via a USB lead, while others remove the media card from the camera and insert it into the computer's card reader (or a USB card reader).

So exactly what are you doing, please, and when does it go wrong? For example, if you're inserting the camera's media card into a card reader, does your computer recognise that it's there? (Go to 'Computer' to see if its icon is there). Similarly, if you're connecting the camera to your computer, does the computer 'see' it as an external drive? (Again, go to 'Computer' to look for its icon).

l have solved the problem - I bought a new connector for my camera the laptop and it works just fine

I think you need to check whether your drivers are correctly installed.
