How To Set Up A Blog

I'd like to start a blog about my baking but I have no idea where to start.
Answers please directing me to pretty simple instructions.
I haven't got to grips with Facebook or Twitter yet. Do I need to learn them first?

Hi Jennykenny, nope you don't need to be fluent or even use facebook or twitter to set up and run a blog. The easiest way to do it is to go to: www.blogger.com
This will let you set up and run a completely Free blog to contain whichever subject you wish. There is a walk through tutorial to help you select the template you want (how your blog will appear) and create or edit new posts whenever you like.
I use this to run mine (my blog is very boring and I don't update it often enough :-) and it is super easy, and looks professional. Have a look through some of the other blogs for ideas using the 'next blog' tab at the top of the page. Good luck, and please feel free to ask if you need help xx
