How many characters do you recall who have left a TV series only to return played by a completely different actor ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Last week I noticed in ITV 's Emmerdale "Robert Sugden" returned after 10 years or more played by a different actor.

They changed one of the actresses in Hollyoaks a couple of years ago and in the very first scene with the new girl and her on-screen mother, the mother asked her if she had done something new with her hair as she looked different. Loved it, thought that was the perfect way to do the switch.

I saw a film and this 12year old boy turned into Tom Hanks. God, it was so obvious even I spotted it. Completely ruined it for me.
