Trust Webcam From Argos
i've just connected a 'TRUST'primo webcam to my pc and haven't got a clue how it works. should there be an icon for it somewhere . ive been into the my computer bit and it shows its connected and says its working properly but i can't get past section 3 as the instructions are showing a picture of 'windows live messenger', which seems to have been discontinued. is there something you have to do to see yourself and also section 4 showing rotation of lens to focus but mine wont seem to turn i'm using windows 7 which the camera works on is there anyone who can please help with a simple answer as i'm totaly computer thick

Next, I need to ask exactly what it is that you intend to do with your webcam, Paul? Its manufacturers have assumed that you want to use it with some form of instant messaging software, so that's why they've referred to Windows Live Messenger' within the instructions. Since that software is no longer available you need to decide which program you want to use it with. If you want to have face-to-face conversations with friends across the world, the most obvious software to download and install is Skype:

(However if, say, you wanted to use your webcam for home security purposes you might require alternative software).
Assuming that Skype is suitable for you, sign into your account and then click on Tools > Options. Under General, select Video Settings. You should then see the output from your camera displayed.
