Windows Media Player

Somehow I have lost my Windows Media Player and I'm told by the Windows MP site that my system is incompatible with their download, though I find it hard to believe as it was there when I first bought it! they said to look on the Net for another supplier, but warned of possible nasties coming with them. Can anyone recommend a reputable supplier of a download, please? I am running Windows 7 (64 bit).

Forget WMP and download the far superior VLC media player from:

Probably the version you are trying to download is the newest one - look for a link to older versions or google the oldapps site
