Settings - about tablet (at the bottom) - version Mine is Android version 5.1 and it recently updated from jelly bean to lollipop. That caused my tablet to run very slowly, hang, freeze, battery drain, all sorts of frustration. I solved it easily...

I solved it easily enough by resetting it to factory default. It was 'box fresh' but running lollipop and now it is better than ever.

Thank you Hc4361 I followed your instructions I was scared as hell tho...... but its running a lot quicker now
Not as quick as it was but some of the messages were pretty worrying like "if you do this everything will misbehave" or "you will lose all your data" some I went for others I left fearing the whole data would be wiped BUT I can report that as of yet nothing is upset or lost so thank you
by the way in the about tablet it says I have android version 4..2and kernel version 3.0.36+ I'm wondering if that's my equivalent of jelly bean / lollipop etc ??
And just to finish it says everything is up to date but I couldn't find the last update ??
Thank you
