Hi I've just changed my ink in my printer and it now won't print anything.  Its not responding to anything at all and both my green light and red light are still on and by rights only my green light should be on.

I haven't used a cheap ink cartridge it is the right one for the model......this is the first time this has happened.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to uninstall and it wouldn't let me so I put my printers cdrom in my drive and got this message

C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

My Printer is an Epson Stylus C44UX .......:(

I'm using Windows XP AOL 9

Yes taken cellophane strips off!!
Have you charged the cartridges ? Some printers have a facility to charge the ink before they will work (Mine is an Epson and when you install cartridges, whether they are Epson or compatible) this needs this to be done.
An option Should be under the Printer option >- settings.
Good luck
