Your HP Deskjet is an Inkjet Printer. Consequently the answer to your question is a definite YES. Hans.

Hans.
Don't splash out on a stock of one brand - try a few different ones until you get one that gives the best results for your printer.

Further to the above, don't even bother with the 'cheapo' stuff (such as the Polaroid brand found in Poundland or Morrison's own brand photo paper). You'll get rubbish results.

The best photo paper that I know of for 'everyday' tasks (rather than the 'professional' stuff, that costs a small fortune) is made by HP, so it should work well with your printer. (I use it with a Canon printer but still get excellent results):

(It's available in Tesco's larger stores, as well as online. Sainsbury's also sell it at £13.99)
