I use ebay but make sure the number matches that on your own - significantly cheaper than the proprietary ones. In case you are not aware try for a 9 cell as its will last longer.

What seller on eBay do you use, ukbod? It's too easy to buy what is at best rubbish, and at worse extremely dangerous rip offs.

i didnt know you could get 9 cell batteries, i thought 6 cell was the maximum.
i have had a look at ebay, and struggled to find anything, even had a look at amazon, also not much joy. will try again though

I wouldn't buy from outside the UK because I would not be protected by UK consumer laws. It is also a faff to send faulty goods back. There are plenty of standard batteries available from UK suppliers like this one:

I have never had any issues with buying from abroad and I don't consider 49 pounds a good price so I didn't offer it.

Theres does seem to be quite a price differential!! sadly hc4361 the cheaper amazon option doesn´t deliver to Spain. I would prefer a 9cell battery, but 60quid inc p&p!!! decisions decisions. Might have to settle for the cell usa cheaper option.

talk about catch 22, now the spanish seller wont send to the uk!! it looks like my old account had an uk address, now i have got to find a way of reseting my spanish address. aaaarrrggghhhh

i got there in the end, after a bit of tweeking, and using ebay.es
paypal, in the end declined, after all that palaver, had to use my debit card.
paid about 30 euros inc p&p
