Outlook Express - The Message Could Not Be Sent

When I open Outlook Express, i get the following error message:
An unknown error has occurred. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 0, Secure SSL: No, Error 0x800c0131Ce problem may be due to corruption or lack of Folders.dbx file.
who knows how to stop it??

Assuming that the Folders.dbx is actually corrupt, you could try the following supposedly free repair tool.

Not sure how good it is, but before attempting, I suggest you make a copy of the Folders.dbx. Also, running an anti-virus check on the downloaded file before attempting an installation might be a good idea for peace of mind!

• Rename the file to make a backup, for example Folders.bak.
• Launch Outlook Express. Folders.dbx file is automatically recreated and the application opens correctly.
