Malware Problem
7 Answers
Sorry to bother you again, I'd be grateful for some help please. Windows defender keeps finding a Trojan called win64/patched.AZ.ge . When I try to access the Internet (Microsoft edge on wondows10) all I get is "hmmm, we can't reach this page" is there any simple way to resolve this as I can't access the Internet to download malware removed software? Would System Restore work ?
Thanking you for your time

That Windows Defender is failing to remove it doesn't say much for it. There are on-line virus scans that might suit you. I've used http:// houseca ll.tren dmicro. com/uk/ on occasion. May be worth a try.
System Restore should probably work (preferably run in Safe Mode).
Alternatively download the installation file for the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to a different machine and transfer it to the infected one via a USB memory stick. (At the end of the installation process, take care to deselect the pre-ticked option to take a free trial of the Premium version):

>>>Can I transfer anti malware software from my iPad to my pc?
Software designed for one device is incompatible with the other because they operate on different operating systems.
However if the Malwarebytes website offers you the Windows version when viewed on your iPad then you could still download the set-up file and then transfer it to your PC.
