Windows 10 Start Menu

I've lost the button for start - at least it's there still, but not working. Can't click or right-click or anything else for that matter.
How do I get it back please?

Also, the panel 'search the web and windows' doesn't work

reboot didn't work, but I did something in desktop properties and it seems to be working now.
I'll book mark that link tho pinkyboyid, looks v useful

My neighbour has that problem as well.

I ended up putting sortcuts to her mail and edge on the desktop.

You can right click on the windows icon to get access to the menus to let you shutdows etc.

It'snow working Tuvok, but when it wasn't right clicking had no effect.

went weirdo again, so I tried the bt site and the 3rd option worked!
What a bore - hope that's it fixed for keeps.
