You have to do it through ITunes. There is a "ringtone" application in there. I have done it successfully but I have to say, it took me a whole afternoon. :/

Now, I'm quite good with computers and when I make my mind up to do something, I carry on until I do it. I found it doable but, complicated and that just might be me.

You might have an easier ride than me.

No it isn't you....I haven't been able to locate the "ringtone" app so more help is required please. Tel
I agree, telboy. There is no obvious links on the page. I take it you're doing it on your PC. If I remember correctly, it is in the top lefthand corner.

Give me a few minutes and I'll fire up my laptop and have a look. Stand by!
On my laptop on the iTunes screen, under file, edit, view, etc there is this sign,
Sorry, don't know what happened there. Carrying on. There is a sign,
What the devil is going on. My iPad won't let me put the sign for two quavers. So.... Next to that is a row of three horizontal dots. Click on that and a list comes up with one of them being "tones" click on that and add your tune.

Sync your phone and bobs your auntie. I hope.
