Failure To Connect Message

Help!! am getting message " failure to connect to Windows server. Windows could not connect to Group Policy client..as administrative user review system etc". please can someone tell me the "easiest" way to solve this problem.

Thanks for help SlackAlice...got a bit intimidated with list of things to do ( sites on Google as well) ...am OAP... so.......shut eyes...pressed system restore back a few days!!! fingers crossed I seem to be back on now.
