Polystyrene Ceiling Tiles - What Adhesive Is Best?
12 Answers
About 14 yrs ago, I "papered" the plastic ceiling of my conservatory with the polystyrene on a roll. It worked brilliantly. The shading in summer reduced the heat, but provided insulation in the winter. I was even able to paint it.
This year it appears that the strong mix of wallpaper adhesive that I used has finally dried out. I now plan to re-do it, but using polystyrene ceiling tiles.
Are there any builders out there who can advise me as to what adhesive I should use to put them up? The wallpaper paste was messy to use, and obviouly didn't dry very quickly.
Someone told me to use coving adhesive. Thoughts please.
