Gmail With POP3

Im on XP Professional with SP2, it was working fine until recently when i reverted to Outlook 2003. Before I tried Outlook 2003, it worked fine with Incredimail And Outlook Express. I get these errors:

1) Sent test e-mail message: The specified server was not found, but there was no response from the server. Please Verify that the port and SSL information is correct.

2) Log into incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook could not logon to the incoming mail server (POP3). Please verify the settings for User Name, Password and E-mail fields.

I followed Gmail's instructions to set it up. I did it correcty.  No firewall blocking it. No AntiVirus Blocking it.No SPyware or viruses in system. No clue what is going on.

not really an answer to your outlook problem, but try using thunderbird:

superior to outlook in many ways, you may love it!
