Ab Question Reply Emails

Out of the blue this evening I'm getting an email every time someone posts on my threads. I've never had this before - ever, and I've not changed a thing. I've checked my profile and it's not ticked to receive anything so don't know how to stop it??

You must have clicked the subscribe button, Smow. Click on unsubscribe on that particular post.

If you're sure that you've not clicked 'Subscribe' on individual threads, go to your profile and double-check that there's not a tick against 'Subscribe to all my own questions'.

If there's a tick there then, obviously, remove it and click 'Submit'.

If there's not a tick there, put one in anyway and click 'Submit'.
Close your browser.
Open it again and return to your profile.
Remove the tick and click 'Submit'

If none of that helps, email [email protected]

I don't ever ever go into my profile. Just checked and it's not ticked against subscribe. I've been here years and never had this

Go to a relevant thread (for which you're receiving emails about replies) and look in the box where your question appears.

If you see 'Unsubscribe' there (instead of 'Subscribe') then you've accidentally clicked on the 'Subscribe' button previously.

Ok let's see if that works. I didn't realise you could subscribe to an individual thread - after all these years. Maybe I have accidentally tapped that on iPad in that particular thread? Don't know how. Let's give it 5 mins and see what happens x

On the main site (not mobile) there is a 'subscribed threads' box on the right hand side, if you have subscribed to any.

Look in the OP Box of question referred to in email, bottom right corner it will say subscribe or unsubscribe in red. If in say unsubscribe click on it to cancel it.

I forget sometimes on my night song thread and have been known to get rather a lot - fortunately I have a special folder for all AB ones.
