Gran Turismo 6 Playstation Updates
1 Answers
Can anybody help a frustrated 81 year old pensioner. I have recently purchased a PLAYSTATION 3 SLIM and after finally getting it to accept my WI-FI I tried to play my GRAN TURISMO 6 racing game.
As soon as I opened the game a message appeared saying there were some "UPDATES AVAILABLE" which I decided to download. After many hours the up dates 1 to 16 were complete and the screen showed following screens
1. UPDATE PREPARATION IN PROGRESS
2.INSTALLING
3.AN ERROR OCCURRED DURING INSTALLATION
4.INSTALLATION FAILED
Now as soon as I try to play the game it takes me through these four messages.
What can I do to finalise the update procedure as at the present the game is UNPLAYABLE
Any help will be appreciated.

The instructions in this link look lengthy/complicated at first sight, but I read through them and they sort of made sense):
