Download Free Version Of Microsoft Office Word.
Can anyone recommend one please? I'm getting confused with "Free" and "Free to try" etc.
I have a 2007 version in German, but would like one in English as well. Thank you.

Thanks. The reason which has brought this to a head is that I have a quantity of nouns in a jumbled order and I want to sort them alphabetically which is possible in later versions of Word.
I have libreoffice but can't figure out how to do it in that and the German Word is 2007 and too old. According to my information I need to highlight all the words, and use a symbol which is an A over a Z with an downward pointing arrow. Can that be done in Open Office do you know?

oh - if you have excel
convert to a text file
import into excel
go thro their import wizard on data ( csv and all that sort of thing ) it will ask you for the separator for the names
then use the excel sort in text A-> Z
voila ! ( god I really did learn something in the crippy AAT level 3 spreadsheet course whose exam I crashed out of)
did it with a frenz' record collection txt file
and even got title and singer and date in different columns
