Unknown Programme Requesting To Alter Firefox Add-Ons.
0 Answers
This morning at about 8.30 I was looking through AB and had three separate page 'pop-ups' requesting permission to alter individual Firefox Add-ons. I ignored them and clicked out each page.
I only have three Firefox add-ons.......Unmentionable.....Flagfox....and British English Dictionary. However, I then discovered that the three of them had become 'disabled' and had to be re-enabled..
A run through with both Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (free edition) gave a clean bill of health.
There was Not any indication of from where the 'pop-up pages' had come and what improvements would be achieved by allowing my Add-ons to be amended. Consequently I am wondering what was going on and if any other ABers have had a similar experience.
