Thanks Sqad for having wished me 'good luck' for this afternoon's visit to my GP. The outcome is as follows.:-
Tablets have now been dramatically decreased for a trial period of one month. Bisoprolol 1.25mg has been set at one tablet per day instead of two. Eplerenone 25mg has been stopped. Aspirin 75mg has been reduced from one tablet every other day to one tablet twice per week (Tues and Fridays)
It's over four years since I had a Heart Attack and the package of seven drugs which were prescribed by the Hospital Consultant has now been reduced by my GP to two; with lower dosages of the tablets involved. . Perhaps one day I will achieve my desire to be free from any drugs........apart from red wine which I like to think is doing me good.
Hans.
