sagem my c4-2 battery

help me, i put the battery into this new sagem c4-2 mobile pone before the sim card and i can't get the battery back out no matter how hard i try...it's just stuck right in there and my fingers are all bruised from trying to get it out..should i pull it from the bottom or the top? i don't have long nails. i know this is an awkward question to be asking on ab, but i need this bloody battery out a.s.a.p! please please help me.

use a credit card to lever it out. same problem occured with the siemens sf65 battery and a credit card was the only thing that would let me get it out
