Can anyone tell me how i make my default media player Real player, instead of windows media player?

I have the latest Real Player and this is how to do it on that release.

Start Real Player and on the menu bar select Tools then Preferences. In the window that is displayed, in the left hand frame, select Content then Media Types.

There is an option "Make Real Player my Universal Media Player". Select that to play ALL your media types with Real Player.

Or select "Manually Configure" and then the "Select" button to select individual media types.

Note you can have different media objects played by different programs, so Real Player could play MP3s while Windows Media Player could play MPEGS.

Note that when some programs start up they may ask you "Would you like to make this program your default media player". Obviously you say no to this, unless it is Real Player that is asking of course.

There may also be an option which says "Dont ask me this again" so you should select that.
