I have a Lenovo Yoga3 YT3-X50F Android 6.0.1 tablet and have no sound when I plug in the headphones. I would be grateful for any help.

The usual tests would include:

1. Checking the headphones on another device to see if they have a fault.
2. Checking that the sound you are listening for plays without the headphones in.
3. Going to settings to adjust the volume.
4. If you have confirmed that the headphones you were trying work elsewhere, then you could try a different set.

For physical problems like this it can be tricky to find out what's going on without being there to investigate ourselves, but those are some easy diagnostic tips you could try for the time being.
