Re-Installing Printer

Having - I think - established that the reason the printer won't print from the just-downloaded OpenOffice (see my post on Saturday) is that it does not recognise OO, and I reckon the solution will be to uninstall the printer (HP ENVY 4520 ) then re-install it on the computer. Is the uninstall a straightforward procedure, and will I be prompted how to do it when I click on 'install'?

Click 'Start'. Click 'Devices & Printers'. RIGHT-click on the printer icon. Click 'Remove Device'. RESTART THE COMPUTER!!! I would download the drivers for it in advance just in case, although Windows usually recognises what it is somewhat automatically GG x
