I'm currently looking at some dumbbells for my nearly 10 year old grandson, for Xmas. Not sure what weights I should get. They range from 1kg - 10kg. He is a very strong boy. Can anyone advise? Thanks.

Kids shouldn't weight train until 16 as their skeletons are too soft and can become distorted for life

Ok, wasn't sure. Looking for ideas. I'll scrub that thought! Although, looked at links for Amazon, and are advertised for children. Thanks for answering. I'll think on... :-)
