Blue Magic Cleaning Spray

Hi Folks,

Has anybody bought and used Blue Magic cleaning spray that has been demonstrated on Ideal World TV recently.

The demonstrations seem fantastic, with the demonstrator rubbing things like red wine, wax crayon, beetroot, mustard and pen ink into a piece of carpet. After a quick few sprays of the product and then a quick rub in using your finger, the stains seem to vanish in front of your eyes. Also, permanent marker pen on a bathroom tile just seems to lift away and drip off by itself after a quick spray using this product.

BUT.... I just do not believe it works like they claim it does. Why? Other than being very sceptical, because I'm sure that it would be on the shelves of all the major shops and supermarkets and not just on a TV shopping channel for a start.

Please can anyone who as actually used it confirm that it does (or does not) work like they claim it does.

Thank you Buen for the links - approx 50/50 divided opinion, but....

as Geezer points out (and call me sceptical!), can you trust any online reviews these days?

My attitude towards online reviews is that, while it's easy enough for sellers to fake good reviews, it's far harder for them to get rid of poor ones (and, unless they're in direct competition with a particularly nasty rival, it's fairly unlikely that those poor reviews will be fakes).

So I generally believe the fake ones and then, if necessary after that, I examine the good reviews carefully to see if they appear to be genuine. (e.g. by checking out other reviews from the same people, to see if they only ever give 5 stars to 'wonder' products).

In the case of the Blue Magic spray mentioned here, the large number of negative reviews (from people who're saying that the product is total rubbish) would be enough to put me off buying it, without the need to even look at the good reviews.

OK...I haven't used it but I do have an opinion.
I think Blue Magic may well be a decent cleaner - if used NEAT.
However, the premise is that you can dilute the bought concentrate up to 50x to get these amazing results. Now, if you add 1 part of this bluey concentrate to 49 parts water, how blue will the resultant liquid be? Answer....not noticeably blue at all.
However, all these amazing demos are done with very blue liquid...so I think they are using neat (or barely diluted)product.
