Sound Clips On Ipad

Using the iPad keyboard, I accidentally hit the ‘microphone’ key next to the space bar, and it picked up the adjacent radio chat and sort of transposed it into the text box.

Question. Can these sound clips be saved, and then can they be sent (email attachments?) to others?

Or is the function just useful for non-typists?

Well, you can save Voice Memos, although I’m having trouble emailing them - they get stuck in outbox.

I can however save them to Dropbox and post a link. Shall I try it on here? Bit radical, but maybe...

So, will this fly?

Should work, but not sure how fussy dropbox gets about non-dropbox people playing their links.

Please report back!

I opted to use the web option - to see if it worked without having to use the app. It did.

Blimey!A whole new era, where we can actually shout at each other.

I bet it’s against the rules!

Just checked the rules, and can’t find anything about posting your own voice - it’s not as if anybody would recognise me - so this might be a breakthrough.

Not fussy at all, surely?
One of the main purposes of such hosting sites is to enable the creation of links to send to individuals, or to a forum.
Dropbox invited me to log in, but I didn't, and it worked fine

True 198, but they always want you to sign up, give your details, etc., etc. They're interested in spreading their spider's web network, much like Google

Very radical, allen :)
I've been using Dropbox for years but never to host. It is very useful cloud back up and storage that can be accessed from any device anywhere in the world and shared or kept private.
