Cortana, Do I Need It?
I don't as far as I know use it, what effect would it have if I disabled it from startup in W10, would it help my computer to run faster as it's become sluggish of late? Thanks.

You can uninstall it completely - Microsoft is getting rid of it anyways

Been trying to speed up my Personal Computer, following the 14 ways here;

I removed Cortana, from startup which might have made a slight difference, but then changed the power settings from 'Balanced' to 'High Power', and WOW what a difference that makes! It says it uses more juice, which might be important on a battery driven laptop etc. but does that really matter on a mains driven PC?
And there's still 12 more tweaks to go. :0)
