Pre Paid Sim Cards.

Is there any type of pre paid sim card I can buy to fit my Amazon Fire tablet so I can watch live tv/films while I'm in hospital. The hospitals wifi is very slow and I don't have a contract with any mobile phone company.

I understand that the fire tablet does not take SIM cards. I maybe wrong, but looking at my fire tablet there is no where to put a SIM.

If you have a mobile phone you can turn it in to a wifi hotspot and use the date on your tablet.
Is that feasible for you?

I see that 4G Fire tablets are available - is that the sort you have? If so, no problem at all buying a PAYG sim card

You can get one month contracts.

Currently Smarty have an unlimited data Sims for £18, and large data ones a bit less. Smarty is on the 3 network, and is owned by them. I suggest you check if 3 gives good coverage there, and if there is a mobile signal possible inside the building before investing.

Barry is right, put the SIM in your mobile, and use it as a WiFi hotspot.
