Card reader/writer???

Hi there guys and girls got one for you here...I bought a tom tom 300 but want the voices and speed camera on it ,the memory card is not big enough for this.So bought a bigger memory card, how do i get the original tom tom info on to the new memory card as well as the new voices..etc.I bought a card reader - writer but it wont send to the new card through the reader writer..any ideas in this confusing time...cheers in advance..new card is 512mb if that means anything.cheers Ian
