stupid me - mind on a contentious phone call and I acidentally deleted a large amount of Word text in rtf.,.....about 4 to 5 pages of it - no automatic back up it seems as all I can get to at this point is the last save point yesterday.

Is there a way of getting to it through the backdoor of Word or do I have to bite the bullet and regenerate it....probably a solid hour to 90 minutes work?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

If you blue out stuff
control Z will undo, and repeat
not sure if it will do 5 pp

works on text generally - so if you pen a long post here, and it goes blue and deletes, ctrl-z will restore
but it has to be quicko quicko

cntrl-Y re-does

control X cut and save

in rtf doc - you should be able to toggle auto save
If none of these methods work, it'll be time to start typing again. (Sorry!)
