Missing Photographs

My woman is telling me that the photos she takes on her mobile phone sometimes go missing; that she has lost a lot and of late had to retake photos she know she has already taken. She is most annoyed at it.

I've looked, not that I know what is missing, but I can't find any. I tried to find a photo finder app, but could only find a recover deleted one, which found nothing of interest anyway.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is happening and ideally where to find the missing photos ? I did wonder if they were going unbidden to some form of cloud storage but the 2 such options that came with the android phone doesn't seem to have any account created, and I'd not expect them to.

I'm at a loss as to what might be occurring. TIA.

I have the same problem with my tablet. I know that I have photos saved on it but can't find them. I just gave up and just save them on my laptop now.

This may seem a bit old timey, but I save everything by emailing it to myself. Set up an email account just to send photos to. I also save documents this way.

I started doing this long before "the cloud" and never had a reason to try anything else.

Thanks, but had you known what happened to her e-mail account you might not consider that an ideal solution. :-O
