Has Anyone Managed To Get Freeview To Work On Their Desktop/Laptop?

I go to this site....

...it says "Watch your favourite TV shows on your mobile, tablet, PC, or laptop." - but all it wants you to do is to download the app for phone or tablet. I don't want it on my phone I want it on the PC. What am I missing?

Works for me, click 'find and watch tv' at the top of the page and click the programme you want to watch

Me too, barry. I just clicked on the tab you suggested and then found that England are beating Norway 1-0 after about 30 mins.

I've looked in the Microsoft Store and Freeview doesn't have an app for Windows machines. I'm surprised but maybe there is a cost or location issue.

It just seems to invoke the correct player for each selection, eg Iplayer for BBC, so basically it is acting as a gateway for other catch up services.

Yes it's useful but what is slightly annoying is that you have to set up an account for the player. I wanted to watch E4 so I had to join C4! I'm already a member of the BBC so Iplayer is fine.
