My Laptop Will Not Connect To Internet. Help Please!

Have checked the wi fi connection on my separate tablet and phones and all ok but when I use laptop although connection shows open and connected when I try to connect to many different sites it comes up with message DNS could not be found and then when I troubleshoot it says DNS server not responding and sometimes contact network administrator and does noe exist

Wi fi still showing as connected

Any ideas please?

Go into Computer Management > Device Manager.

Find the network adapter on your laptop, right-click and disable it.

Now enable it again and it will try to connect to your router and give you the internet back.

Is this all sites or just some?

If all sites, try a ping to see what can be seen.  Command Window ping www.google.com for instance will show it.

Did that but did not work although the page appeared behind the no DNS message block after a few minutes!

I'd have advised what baz said.

 

Ymb was suggesting to search cmd and select the suggestion Windows comes up with. Then type in the DOS window that appears ping google.com then press the return keyl to see if it's successful.
