Converting Bread Recipe To Bread Machine.?

Hi I want to convert a Bread Recipe to make in a Bread Machine. When the bread recipe says leave to rise, in the Machine do you take the dough out and let it rise on the kitchen counter, or will the Bread Machine do all the rising for you please.?  TIA.

But it does leave the darned paddle in the base while it bakes ☹

You've got the wrong bread maker, OG.  Not all of them leave a hole.

cleoval, as already said, leave the dough in the machine to rise.  The beauty of a bread machine is you can start it and leave alone until the bread has finished cooking
