Christmas Gif

I want to send a Christmas video/GIF (whatever that is) from my WhatsApp ...  how do I do it??

I don't have a WhatsApp so I don't know how you would do it - pop it in an envelope perhaps? I do believe that a GIF is a picture, and that a video is a moving picture: how you would get that into an envelope, I'm not sure. I'll watch this thread in the hope of learning something new.

If the person you wish to send it to is also on WhatsApp, just click on the desired GIF and either do or don't add a message, then send as you would a normal text.

1. Open WhatsApp on your mobile phone by tapping on the icon (a green circle with a speech bubble containing a phone handset).

2.  Select your recipient from the contacts list.

3. Tap on the Message box and write your message (or leave this part until later if you wish.)

4.  Directly below the Message box, tap on GIF and then open the Search box and type 'Christmas'.

5.  Tap on the magnifying glass, bottom right of the keypad.

6.  This will then give you lots of GIFs to choose from.

7.  Tap on the one that you want to send and type your message in the space "Add a caption".

8. Press the green Send arrow.
