Hello, Does Anyone Know How To Use The Returns Machine In Marks And Spencer's Store?

I need to return some items and would like to know how to use it? I would take them to the counter, but they say to use the machine.

For fuss-free returns, you can use our self service returns kiosk. It’s is a quick, convenient way to start your refund process.

 

Step 1: log your return in your M&S account. When you select the store you want to return to, you’ll receive a returns barcode.

Step 2: take your parcel to the kiosk in store and scan the barcode using the digital screen.

Step 3: your returns sticker will be printed. Stick it on your parcel and place your return in the convenient drop-off box.

Step 4: press the ‘confirm return’ button on the screen before leaving, to ensure you are sent tracking and progress updates.

 

You’ll receive an email confirming your return.

It has always worked fine for us.

I suffer from gadgetitis and nerves.  It is out of my comfort zone.

 

I just received the barcode to my email.  Do I take that to the store?  Do I scan the barcode first?  What about the parcel?

Is the email on your phone?

Just pack your item in the bag it came in, scan the barcode from the email- a label will be printed for you to stick on the parcel. Drop the parcel into the box

No on my ipad? Do you know the address to return the parcels?

If you dont want to take your ipad to the store print the email/barcode off at home and then use the instore machine.

If you want to return it by post instead then look on the website or look on the paperwork that came with the delivery.

I might take it to the  store?  There was an address on the top of the parcel in Derby UK.
